Short story:
The M14 (officially named United States Rifle, 7.62mm, M14) is a selective fire battle rifle chambered for 7.62x51mm NATO ammunition. It gradually replaced the Garand M1 as a service weapon first in the Army (replacement completed in 1961) and then in the Marine Corps (replacement completed in 1965) and was used by American troops from 1959 until 1964, when it began to be replaced by the M16 (assault rifle).
The M14 Socom model and the CQB Custom version of the M14. Handling and weight balance have been improved, making movement in tight spaces much easier. Also equipped with a 20mm rail on which various optical devices can be mounted. The flash hider creates a more aggressive image than the Socom M14.
Sturdy, high solidity. Plastic stock and grip with sandstone finish, non-slip.
