TOKYO MARUI M14 SOCOM WOOD VERSION
Short story
The M14 (officially named United States Rifle, 7.62mm, M14) is a selective fire battle rifle chambered for 7.62x51mm NATO ammunition. It gradually replaced the Garand M1 as a service weapon first in the Army (replacement completed in 1961) and then in the Marine Corps (replacement completed in 1965) and was employed by American troops from 1959 until 1964, when it began to be replaced by the M16 (assault rifle).
The model produced by Tokyo Marui is a faithful replica of the real version. Sturdy, high solidity, thanks to the configuration of the rifle; the stock, grip and forend are a monobloc in plastic, but together with the other parts, almost entirely in metal, they lead to a nice weight of almost 4 kg.
Once again Tokyo Marui demonstrates its attention to detail:
-Functional cocking lever that emits a pleasant metallic sound like the real gun;
-Original logo on the receiver:
U.S. Rifle
7.62-MM M14;
