LEE ENFIELD NO.4 MK1 - CNC - WOOD STOCK
Brief History
The original Lee-Enfield rifle was developed at the end of the 19th century, in 1895, and in 1902 it became the standard weapon of the British infantry. At that time, it was considered one of the best rifles in the world. It had a peculiarity not seen in other similar weapons of the time: a 10-round magazine, which allowed it to have a high rate of fire for a repeating, manually loaded rifle.
The British made several experiments and attempts, between the two wars, to find another, better rifle model, but they were constrained by economic problems.
So, in the end, favored by the fact that there were very large quantities of 7.7 mm ammunition in stock, the Lee-Enfield rifle from World War I remained in use, with some minor adjustments.
The most widely used model was the Lee-Enfield Model 4 Mark I, a series that began in 1930 and continued until 1945.
This replica, branded G&G, perfectly imitates the real rifle and is gas-operated.
The replica has a unique loading system: first you have to pull the bolt back then insert the dummy clip into the magazine through the top, until it clicks, without having to remove the magazine from the rifle (ATTENTION! The dummy clip will only lock in the magazine when it is filled with bullets). Each dummy clip has a capacity of 10 bullets and is loaded with the feeder that comes with the package. After the last bullet fired, when reloading, the clip will jump out of the rifle allowing you to add a new loaded clip.
